Project Management Professional (PMP)

Project management, as tested by the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, is the discipline of delivering an agreed scope on time, within budget and to the expected quality while keeping stakeholders engaged. This PMI exam preparation programme covers 12 modules in 40 hours over 8 sessions, in class in Cairo, live online, or in-house for your team.
Prepares participants for the PMI PMP certification, the most widely recognised project management credential. It provides a practical foundation in project management that can be applied immediately.

Why project management matters

Projects are how organisations change: a new system, a new site, a new product. When project managers plan scope, schedule and cost as one integrated plan, control change formally and keep stakeholders informed, sponsors can see where a project stands and take decisions on facts rather than surprises.

Without that discipline, scope grows unchecked, the critical path is discovered too late, budgets drift with nobody measuring earned value, and risks turn into issues. This programme gives project professionals one method across predictive, agile and hybrid approaches, leading to the PMP certification awarded by PMI.

What you will be able to do

  • Develop a project charter and an integrated plan, and control change against it
  • Build a work breakdown structure and a network schedule, and identify the critical path
  • Estimate costs, set a cost baseline and track performance with earned value
  • Identify, prioritise and respond to project risks, both threats and opportunities
  • Plan stakeholder engagement and communications, and lead the team through conflict
  • Choose between predictive, agile and hybrid approaches and apply the PMI Code of Ethics
