SCSCDF
Supply Chain Sustainability with Circularity to Drive Profitability (SCSCDF)
Why circular supply chains matter
Waste in a supply chain is cost: materials paid for and thrown away, energy used without output, and pollution that brings regulatory and reputational risk. Organisations that map their processes with life cycle thinking, set job-specific KPIs and track progress on a maturity matrix can make sustainability a source of profit rather than an overhead.
Without that structure, sustainability stays a side initiative with no owner, no priorities and no measured value, and suppliers have nothing concrete to show customers. SCSCDF helps tier 1, 2 and 3 suppliers and manufacturers move from standard supply chains toward value chains, and leads to a verifiable VCARE Academy certificate valid for life.
What you will be able to do
- Explain circularity and life cycle thinking (LCT)
- Develop process maps and establish job-specific KPIs
- Implement a maturity matrix to track progress
- Create a cross-functional team and rank targets to find the highest priorities
- Embed sustainability into strategic objectives and quantify its value
- Use circularity as an order winner
