Contract & Commercial Management (CCM)
Why contract and commercial management matters
Every purchase, service agreement and partnership rests on a contract. When the people who write, negotiate and manage those contracts work to a shared method, the organisation pays for what it actually needs, gets what it was promised, and knows what to do when something changes.
When they do not, value leaks quietly: unclear requirements, bids that cannot be compared, terms that do not fit the relationship, concessions whose cost nobody measured, and disputes that drag on after award. CCM gives procurement, contracting and commercial professionals one practical framework for the whole lifecycle, recognised worldwide through the WorldCC designations.
What you will be able to do
- Define business requirements and compare sourcing options before you go to market
- Run RFI, RFP and RFQ processes with clear, fair evaluation criteria
- Choose the contract type, then draft terms, a statement of work and a service level agreement
- Plan and lead a contract negotiation and measure the financial impact of each concession
- Monitor performance, control change and resolve disputes after award
- Close out contracts properly and hand over lessons to the next cycle
